Abington & Hildersham CAMBRIDGE

Come and see what goes on in our friendly W.I. Abington Women's Institute was inaugurated in 1919 and is still going strong! We are a diverse group of women who live in the picturesque villages of Abington and Hildersham, but we also have members from Linton and Weston Colville. We meet to socialize, to learn new skills, to share experiences and to widen our knowledge through guest speakers. We are also proud to be part of a strong national organisation which campaigns to improve the lives of others and protect our environment. We meet monthly in the Abington Institute, a warm, well-equipped hall with excellent kitchen facilities. We offer a friendly welcome to visitors and prospective members of all ages at our meetings, which usually start at 7.30pm and last for about 2 hours. Our programme shows a wide variety of speakers and activities - there's something for everyone. Come and be inspired!

Janyce Garrod - President

Abington & Hildersham W.I. meets on the second Monday each month.  Abington is located off the A1307 near Fourwentways junction A11, 10 miles south of the city.
